I actually first met Matt in soccer class, but got to know him better as we progressed through the art school ranks together. I didn't talk to him much in the beginning, but then one day he offered me a ride back to the dorms, and I got to know him better as the semester went on.
Though I didn't really know him yet, I remember being excited when I found out he was on my team. The last couple of weeks I had been paired on some bad teams, so I was relieved there was someone good with me this time.
One morning, Matt was playing a litte off, and then he missed a wide open net shot from 3 feet away. He told me he was still a little drunk from the night before, so I gave him the ball as much as I could on purpose. I died laughing, it was pretty fun to watch.
Matt, It's been fun getting to know you these last four years. I'm glad you stuck around a bit after you graduated and got to be a part of this project. I'll for sure miss you when you're gone.
