I remember thinking how familiar John looked, and then realized that I had actually played broom ball against him in the past, so I asked if him and Joe would rather play on my team with me.
I really enjoyed playing broom ball with John. He was really good and played well positionally, but was also really tall and and a little uncoordinated at times on the ice, which was hilarious to watch.
John, I'm glad you and I met in the last couple of years. I wish we could of won broom ball together this year, but I had a blast regardless. Thanks for being an excellent offensive threat with me.
